Insurance & Compensation Details
1. Basic Coverage (Available to All Customers)
At our rental service, all customers are eligible for the following compensation:
a) Personal Injury Protection
Coverage up to ¥30,000,000 per person (including medical expenses, calculated based on the insurance terms).
b) Vehicle Compensation
In case of accident, the company will compensate up to the vehicle’s market value.
Customer’s deductible (excess) for the vehicle: ¥50,000.
c) Bodily Injury to Others (Third-Party Injury)
Unlimited compensation per individual. This includes the mandatory liability insurance.
d) Damage to Others’ Property (Third-Party Property)
Unlimited compensation per incident.
Customer’s deductible (excess) for property damage: ¥50,000.
2. Optional Waiver / Damage Protection Courses
You can opt to reduce or eliminate your deductible and non-operation charges by choosing one of the following plans (per 24 hours, tax included):

3. Non-Operation Charge (NOC)
If damage, theft, or interior contamination requires repair or cleaning and the car cannot be used, the following charges apply:
- If the vehicle is returned under its own power: ¥20,000
- If the vehicle is not drivable: ¥50,000
4. Cases Where Coverage Does Not Apply
The compensation plans will not apply in the following situations:
- When a person other than the contracted driver(s) operates the vehicle.
- Damage to property or buildings owned by the renter.
- Driving off-road (e.g., beaches, forest trails) or outside designated roads.
- Misfuelling or using incorrect fuel.
- Intentional, reckless, or grossly negligent conduct.
- Failure to report the accident to us or the police/road service center.
- Multiple accidents in a single rental: only the first one is covered.
- Joining the waiver plan after the rental start or cancelling it mid-use is not allowed.
- Customers with a prior history of accidents may be denied eligibility for certain plans.
